NASA invites you to send your name to Mars
As NASA is getting ready for future Mars missions. They are inviting the public to send their names to Mars. It is to be noted that this is absolutely free.
Earlier in 2019, they opened up reservations and over 20 million people applied. These names are placed inside a memory card which is fixed on the perseverance Rover. This rover successful landed on Mars in 2021
But this time it is for the 2026 mars mission. This mission supposed to be a sample return mission. The opportunity for sending your name comes along with perks. You will get a souvenir boarding pass and also some frequent flyer points.
The microdevices laboratory at JPL I will fix your name on a silicon chip that will go to Mars. Over 2 million people have already registered.

It might ask your first name, your last name, your country, your postal code, and your email ID. After entering these details you will get a souvenir boarding pass ticket to Mars. The departure date will be mentioned as 2026.

About the mission
It is the same landing site of Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover. In this mission, which happens in 2026 the rover will collect samples left by the perseverance rover and shoot them back to earth. This will be the first time NASA tries to launch a rocket from Mars.
