Artemis 1

        Artemis 1 is an uncrewed experimental drill for NASA's Artemis program that is the primary trip of the office's Orion and Space Launch System rocket It is required to dispatch on 22 November 2021. This mission will be held at Launch Complex 39B (LC-39B) at the Kennedy Space Center, where an Orion shuttle will be sent on a mission of 25.5 days, 6 of those days in a retrograde circle around the Moon. The mission will guarantee the Orion space capsule and Space Launch System rocket for maintained flights starting with the subsequent flight trial of the Orion and Space Launch System. Artemis 2, which will haul a group of four around the Moon in 2023 for seven days in length mission and back before the get together of the Gateway.

         Originally, the mission was intended to follow a circumlunar direction without entering the orbit of the Moon. Current plans are relied upon to have the Orion rocket go through roughly 3 weeks in space, remembering 6 days for a far off retrograde circle around the Moon

Moonkin Naming

        NASA is conducting a naming competition starting Wednesday, June 16 for the mannequin that goes around the moon.NASA is beginning to prep for the Artemis 1 mission to go back to the moon. They have an important job for the people, and that is to name the mannequin that goes around the moon.

            NASA wants our help to name the mannequin that will go on Orion to get data for future missions.

          This mannequin has two radiation sensors and other sensors that measure acceleration and vibration. These will help scientists to protect astronauts on the way to the moon.

            They will be asking the users of social media on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to vote between two names.

            The winners of each section will engage with each other until the last day which is on Monday, June 28.
